Children Parties

• 12 years of age and under.
• At least 2 supervising adults on board for each ride duration.
• Minimum $250.00 deposit.
• $120.00 per agreed 15 min extra.
• Outer suburbs surcharges = $80.00 (see chart).
• $250 per hour thereafter out of area for travel.
• Toll way = $25.00 per usage.
• Alcohol may not be consumed by passengers under the age of 18 years. It is the law, and Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD will not allow any underage drinking.
• Reduced passenger numbers when hiring on board guest entertainment.

Adult Parties

• Minimum $500.00 deposit (depending on package).
• $150.00 per agreed 15 min extra/overtime.
• $350.00 per agreed 30 min extra/overtime.
• $547.75 per agreed 45 min extra/overtime.
• $797.00 per agreed 60 min extra/overtime.
• Outer suburbs surcharges = $80.00 (see chart).
• $150 per hour thereafter out of area for travel.
• Toll way = $25.00 per usage.
• Passengers must be 12 years of age and above.
• Passengers under the age of 18 years may not consume alcohol.
• It is the law, and Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD will not allow any underage drinking.
• Reduced passenger numbers when hiring on board guest entertainment.

General

• Strictly no standing on seats (escorted off bus without further notice and no refund).
• No standing whilst vehicle is in motion, unless instructed to do so by staff/team.
• Standing permissible only when instructed to do so by staff/team.
• Please remain seated, move to entry/exit point only when instructed to do so by crew.
• No hanging on Truck ladder or Bus handrails.
• No body parts to protrude outside perimeter of vehicle such as arms, hands, heads etc.
• No shouting out offensive profanities and rude gestures to the public.
• No throwing of items outside or inside the vehicle.
• Use of roof covering and or netting to the discretion of staff/crew.
• Any damage, injuries or liquid spillage, crew to be notified immediately.
• Crew to be notified immediately of any public persons illegally boarding vehicle.
• Drunk clients will be refused entry and no refund.
• Management does reserve the right at any time to exit passengers and/or instantly terminate the service with no further notice and no refund.
• Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD accepts no responsibility for any lost or damaged luggage, valuables and belongings.
• Management reserves the right to immediately involve authorities at any time.
• Further and continual instructions from crew must be adhered too.
• Please note you are under camera surveillance (installed for your safety).
• TRUCK TV6509 – Emergency exit (1) via ladder at rear (gate is outward opening and quick release latch).
• Emergency exit (2) via passenger side cabin door.
• BUS TV399B – Emergency exit (1) via rear emergency lift hatch.
• Emergency exit (2) via passenger front door.
• Emergency exit (3) via breakable bus windows with red window breaker.
• Dancing is allowed only at a pre determined stops and duration - crew will advise.
• Full free access to touch screen music video’s at any time.
• Crew to be notified of toilet stop (4 or more passengers).
• Trash bin and paper towels located front of cabin, cigarette bins also provided.
• Crew can be contacted at any time during event via intercom or cabin slide window.
• ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS MUST BE AGREED TO.
• Reduced passenger numbers when hiring on board guest entertainment.

Deposit, Booking & Payment

THE HIRER is the hiring person responsible for the booking/payment of the hire.

Deposits and/or any money withheld by Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD bank accounts, as down payment prior to booking date, are the responsibility of the hirer. Deposits and/or any money withheld are wholly known as the deposit. Where multiple parties have deposited money into Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD accounts, the company reserves the right to only speak to the hirer and treat the money withheld as one sum of money only.

A minimum deposit is required and specified in accordance with each package. The hire date/time/package can only be officially confirmed/reserved when Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD has sighted proof or evidence of any related transaction. Official booking confirmation is issued via email, however booking remains subject to availability of the fire truck/bus and unforeseen circumstances including safety issues and weather.

Full and final payment MUST be received a minimum 2 weeks prior to your event. All payments must be made in FULL prior to boarding otherwise management will refuse all right of entry.

Parking Space

Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD requests sufficient legal parking space be provided by the hirer on the booking date and time. Parking space should be made available upon arrival, between rides and where applicable upon drop off. Failure to do so requires extra time and possible travel.

In the event that the hirer has not provided sufficient parking, time required to safely park the fire truck/bus will be a deduction off your hire time and/or at additional cost, and Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD will not be accountable/liable at any time.

Fire truck requires a clear 7 meters legal parking space for length and is 3 meters wide. Bus requires a clear 11 meters legal parking space for length and is 3 meters wide.

Parking remains the sole discretion of staff/crew in attendance on the day of hire.

Liabilities

The following wording is included as provided by you for publication on the website.

• Any human being/man/women/individual/organisation/government body interfering with the daily running’s of the business Engine Number 9 NSW Pty Ltd, it’s owner/operator, its clients, its agents, employees, instructors, and/or personnel, will be served a fine of $6000.
• Anybody/individual/organisation/government body who makes false claims/unprovoked claims/stereotypes towards the business Engine Number 9 NSW Pty Ltd it’s owner/operator, its clients, its agents, employees, instructors, and/or personnel, will be served a fine of $6000.
• It is the responsibility of the hirer that all guests within their group who board Engine Number 9 NSW Pty Ltd have also read these Terms and Conditions and have made no objection and therefore agree to all responsibilities and instruction given in these Terms and Conditions.
• These Terms and Conditions automatically apply to any person/individuals/organisations/business entities and sovereigns whether you have read them or not are bound by agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, boarding the fire truck or bus, or making any contact with Engine Number 9 NSW Pty Ltd.
• Engine Number 9 NSW Pty Ltd reserves the right to call their business vehicle International Acco TV6509 and 1991 Mca Bus TV399B to solely be known as a mobile event venue and must never be known as or categorised as a party bus.
• By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you automatically give up all your rights to your commercial liability therefore any breeches to these Terms and Conditions allow company Engine Number 9 NSW Pty Ltd to sue/deal with any human being/man/women/sovereign/corporate entity/business entity in a court of law.
• You as an individual hereby give up your full commercial liability and therefore are open for the business/company known as Engine Number 9 NSW Pty Ltd to personally deal with you in a court of law.

The hirer warrants that he/she and their guests do not suffer from medical condition(s) and/or incapacity which may impair the participants’ ability to participate. Pregnant guests participate at their own risk/discretion. The hirer holds the company harmless of liability for any personal or material damages arising from all conduct of his/her party and indemnifies the company and related persons against injury, damage or accident that may be sustained.

Vehicle Use, Conduct & Equipment

The consumption of food is not permitted in any of the vehicles unless specific agreement has been made in writing. Drinks must be consumed in the vehicle and may not be removed. The company does not permit the consumption/use of illicit drugs while in the vehicle. Failure to comply will result in the termination of hire.

Irresponsible behaviour that causes damage to the vehicle or endangers the safety of public and other passengers will not be condoned. This includes but is not limited to sitting on the exterior of the vehicle, hanging out of the vehicle, shouting abuse, rudeness or intolerance with the chauffeur or host, arguing with the chauffeur or host, misuse of equipment, fixtures or consumables in the vehicle, and wilful damage to the interior generally.

Use of the emergency exit in a non-emergency is forbidden. Such behaviour may result in immediate termination of hire without compensation. The hirer shall be held liable and responsible for any loss or injuries caused by the behaviour of his or her party.

The hirer accepts that DVD, lighting, effects and music equipment is provided as a courtesy. If the equipment malfunctions prior to or during the hire, Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD accepts no liability and no refund or compensation shall be provided.

Driveways, Private Property, Offensive Guests & Damages

It is the policy of Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD that the fire truck or bus do not enter private driveways due to the risk of breaks, cracks, stress or fractures. If prior arrangements are made in writing, the company is not liable for resulting damage. The company is also not liable for damage to letterboxes, dwellings, fences, gates or similar private property.

Do not arrive drunk or under the influence of drugs of any kind or you will be refused entry. The company reserves the right to exclude any person(s) if they become socially offensive and/or cause offence or inconvenience to others. The hirer shall be responsible for the behaviour of all passengers and shall be primarily responsible for any damage or loss caused to the vehicle.

Abuse or misuse of equipment such as microphones, speakers and remotes will result in termination of those items/services immediately. Damaged or lost items are charged as follows: Microphone $200 per item, Remote $200 per item, Speakers $800 per item.

Cleaning, Repairs & Lost Property

If the truck or bus requires cleaning beyond what would normally be expected, including excessive spilt drink, party poppers, chewing gum, confetti, vomit and similar, additional cleaning fees will apply starting from but not limited to $120.00.

If the vehicle requires repairs as a result of your group’s actions, you will be responsible for the cost of those repairs and any time/loss of business until repairs are completed. The hirer is also responsible for loss of property provided in the fire truck or bus, including but not limited to glassware, cushions, fireman helmets, fireman clothing, bar equipment, DVDs and CDs.

Unforeseeable Events

Traffic, street access and other conditions are unpredictable and may hamper itinerary times. Contractors and external hired entertainment may at times be delayed. Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD accepts no responsibility for delayed or cancelled flights, or for bookings not confirmed by the office and/or hirer.

The company reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time in the event of adverse weather conditions, equipment failure or other reasonable and unforeseen circumstances. In such an event, an alternative date will be arranged. No refund will be available.

Cancellations, Refunds, Credits & Additional Time

Bookings made with Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD are strictly non-refundable in whole or in part. Any money deposited remains the property of Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD. However, in most cases the company may exchange monies received to be used as credit in its entirety towards another package for up to six (6) months from cancellation notification date.

If you fail to show at/on the booked time/day, no refund or credit applies. Any cancellations made within a 48 hour period prior to booking date will not receive a refund or credit.

If a re-booking is made due to an initial cancellation and deposit withheld, the new booking may only be made with a total of a new package as down payment/deposit, including money already withheld.

Additional time should be planned. Unscheduled additional time that is a result of your group’s actions will be charged.

External Entertainment, Photos & Electricity

Guests wishing to include entertainers/performers may do so at an additional venue fee of $170, provided the entertainer carries their own public liability and insurance and provides proof no less than 14 days prior to the booking date.

Sometimes a professional host and/or photographer is on board and takes photos. These may be published on the website. If you do not want photos published, advise before or during the event. Photos can be removed on request.

Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD can supply 240 Volt outlet power on board. The company accepts no responsibility for damage or misuse to any equipment plugged into those outlets. Where the vehicle is to enter an enclosed dwelling, the use of motor generator is forbidden and the hirer bears the cost and responsibility to supply mains power.

Final Clause

Engine Number 9 NSW PTY LTD reserves the right to alter/change/amend any/all terms and conditions at any time without notice.

You (not limited to)/any human being/man/women/individual/organisation/government body etc who agrees to Engine Number 9 NSW Pty Ltd Terms and Conditions are bound by them till the end of time.

Out of Area Surcharge

A fixed surcharge of $80.00 applies for bookings outside standard service areas. Additional travel time may be charged depending on distance and location.
